Morning departure from the hotel brings us to Koprulu River by around 10:30 where crystal clear water flows gently through the magnificent landscape of Koprulu Canyon National Park. The expert rafting guides brief the group on National Park safety procedures, and use of equipment. Participants may choose between an inflatable canoe or raft. Canoes offer a more active rafting trip. No previous rafting experience is necessary. Rafts hold 8-9 people and are manned by a river guide. Lunch is provided with a stop off during the rafting circuit.
Our program is as follows: the first section is around 7 km long, and the rapids in this part are named ‘First Shock’, ‘Half Moon’, ‘Monster’s Mouth’, ‘Rodeo’ and ‘Angel’s Fall’. During this first part there are plenty of occasions for swimming and opportunities for paddle fun games.
Half way down the river we will take a short break on land to refuel the forces. There we will supply seasonal fruits like oranges, apples or watermelons. Here you can also try ‘Body- Rafting’, which means swimming through the rapids with a life vest only, without boat or you can just relax and enjoy the beauty of the nature and the landscape.
On final 7 Km of the river rapids such as ‘Washing machine’, ‘Roulette’, ‘Bugy – Bugy’ and ‘Devil's Hole’ will pump up your adrenalin. This is the time to have fun with a splash combat between the rafting groups.
The excursion ends at the base camp. All these unforgettable moments will be captured by a professional media team during the whole trip. Photos and video will be available.
